The Effects of Caregiving

Women remain the primary caregivers in our society, and they are spending a significant part of their adult lives providing it. Whenever a sick child, an ailing spouse or a parent requires care, it is most often the mother or the daughter who provides for it. While caregiving can often be a rewarding responsibility, it usually also comes at a financial cost to the caregiver.
