The association’s nationwide network of chapters offer frontline support to individuals affected by Alzheimer’s through 24/7 information and referral services, and education and support groups. The foundation seeks to strengthen and empower American military caregivers and their families. The Elizabeth Dole Foundation manages the Hidden Heroes Caregiver Community where caregivers of all wars can find peer support and advice.

Medicare Rights Center

A non-profit organization that operates a national telephone helpline in order to help callers understand Medicare benefits, find the right coverage, and understand how any existing coverage works with Medicare.  Callers living on low or fixed incomes are also screened for additional programs that they may be eligible for that can help pay costs of Medicare.

The Mesothelioma Center is dedicated to providing those who suffer from the asbestos-related cancer malignant mesothelioma—also known as asbestos cancer—or from asbestos-related lung cancer, or who know someone who does, with the most up to date information and support.

National Alliance for Caregiving

NAC conducts research, does policy analysis, develops national best-practice programs, and works to increase public awareness of family caregiving issues. They also provide technical assistance to a national network of caregiving coalitions representing nearly 30 states and localities in the United States.

National Alliance for Hispanic Health

The National Alliance for Hispanic Health (NAHH) is a science-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of Hispanic communities. NAHH is the nation’s foremost source of information on Hispanic health and a science-based, community-driven advocate for health for all. As part of its mission, the alliance operates a free and confidential health helpline in Spanish as well as English.

National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI)

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

National Caucus and Center on Black Aging, Inc.

NCBA is one of the country’s oldest organizations dedicated to aging issues and the only national organization devoted to minority and low-income aging. NCBA has helped protect and improve the quality of life for elderly populations, making certain that legislators, policy makers, advocacy groups, service organizations, and the public include minority seniors in their programs, policy- and law-making.

USAging
