Suzanne Scruggs is Assistant Director of Programs at WISER, the Women’s Institute for Secure Retirement. In her role, she manages WISER’s library of publications and fact sheets, including the development of new resources and tracking data on subjects such as retirement plans, investments, Social Security, women and retirement, and caregiving. Ms. Scruggs conducts data research, utilizing large representative datasets from the U.S. Census, U.S. Department of Labor, and large-scale national studies relating to retirement resources. Prior to joining WISER, Ms. Scruggs worked for many years as the Director of Scheduling and Advance at the Department of Transportation, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and on Capitol Hill. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
