Maggie Boys is the Director of Community Relations and Operations for the Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER), a Washington, DC-based non-profit dedicated to the education and advocacy that will improve long-term financial quality of life for women. Before joining WISER, Boys served as a Meeting and Conference Services Manager for FINRA, a not-for-profit organization that regulates brokerage firms doing business with the public in the United States. In this role, she planned and produced hundreds of corporate events, specializing in saving, investing and financial fraud for FINRA’s Office of Government Affairs and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Ms. Boys has had a lifelong passion to educate individuals on financial education and the financial impact of caregiving. In her role at WISER, Ms. Boys is responsible for building relationships, promoting awareness and delivering workshops. Ms. Boys also handles the operations for WISER. 

Ms. Boys is originally from Wilmington, DE, and graduated from Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC, with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification in 2002, her Virtual Event Meeting Management certificate in 2020 and is a Pandemic Compliance Advisor.
