After 20 years of working in advocacy and development for nonprofit organizations addressing justice, arts, and anti-poverty matters, Carol Seifert established Project Development Associates in 1996 to develop strategies that enhance the fund raising capability and financial stability of her clients and ensure that they pursue and secure support for well-conceived projects from federal, DC government, foundation, corporate, and individual sources.

Ms. Seifert has worked with WISER since 1996 and helped secure its first Administration on Aging grant in 1998. Other clients include Bright Beginnings, a child and family development center for homeless children and Friendship Public Charter School. Special projects have included the Dallas-based Community Learning Center where Ms. Seifert secured three Department of Labor grants for hard to place job seekers.
